This Wikispace is where each student will record their bird projects and have a chance to read over and review other peoples' work.
For this project we will:
Start by identifying good questions about birds that can be answered with investigations. These have to be questions that can either be answered by gathering data through an experiment, through observations, or by comparing data that has already been collected.
Develop hypotheses that are related to our questions.
Develop your procedures: how you will make your observations, gather your data, or collect your information.
Gather data of our own or decide which data we can use from other sources.
Analyze the data and look for patterns that support or refute our hypotheses.
Graph our data to help us see these patterns and to make visual comparisons.
Write our conclusions to summarize what we have learned and to follow up on any other questions that may have arisen during our projects.
Review each others work to help us all do our best.
Publish and share our projects with others.
Use the project checklist to make sure that you are staying on track and getting everything done.
Check out the Project Rubric that we will be using to assess the projects.
